Two devices and One Garmin Connect Account

I've had a FR620 registered to my Garmin Connect account for a couple of years now and I recently parchased a FR630 and I am just wondering if you can have both watches registered to the same GC Account. I've had some issues lately with the 620 (freezing mid run or wild paces in areas where it would work fine before) but I also read in the forums that the 630 doesnt have yet the alerts when creating pace ranges in custom workouts so for this reason I was thinking of alternating between the two watches until the latter is sorted out.
I guess the question is if anyone has done this before and if they have encountered any issues of having and using two devices on the same GC Account. I want to know before I use the 630 and to potentially avoid deleting any of my previous activities and information on GC.
  • U can us both devices on one account with no problem. I have multiple devices on my account and sync them tru Garmin Express or Garmin connect mobile, it does not delete any activities. U can even use both the 620 and the 630 on the same run, both activities end up on your account.

As far as I'm aware, firmware v4.10 for the FR235 – in which the problem of missing pace alerts for custom workouts were resolved – also applies to the FR630.
