Can my Garmin unlock my phone in Android 6.0

Hi,

I have a phone running CM-13 Android 6. One feature of this phone is the ability to automatically unlock it using a device connected via Bluetooth. The problem is that when I try to do this using my Garmin Forerunner 235 the phone does not show up even though it synchronizes with Connect on the same phone.

Is there a solution to this?

Thanks.
Alan
  • On the Fenix 3 you need to pair the device first with the phone, add it to the trusted devices and then quickly connect it in Garmin Connect.

It took me a while to get it working on my LG G4 with Android 6 but once it is working it is very stable.

Did not work for me. The device is already paired to the phone but and can sync with Garmin Connect. I tried pairing gain and it did show up. I checked the option to allow it to access contacts and entered 0 in the pairing code (the OK button would only come on if I entered something into this field). Yet when I got to trusted screen it does not show up unlike other devices.
