Apologies folks but Im new to this forum. I've used Garmin GPS for years and now have a Fenix 3 which I love. Love the apps like bike and Hike but I Like to be able to swithch apps to check GPS position etc. However, it seems like you can't do this without stopping the current app., opening the new one and then restarting the old one . This means that if you check your position only once by GPS, then you have two separate walks recorded. Help please. On my old GPS it was easy to swap between different screens without stalling or stopping each one.

Hold the down button for a couple of seconds while in an app and you will be able to get back to the watch face and then check any widget or other things you may want. Hit Start again to get back to the application.
