Garmin 660 screen blank out

My GPS screen will go blank while riding on interstate hwy just after a going pass an off ramp or interchange. I have to take out battery reinstall to get unit working again .works fine on secondary roads but will not work on interstates. Lane access screen will turn gray until pass lane changes then go completely blank
