How to create a 'custom report' in modern view?

I only see a tab for a 7 day, 4 week and 1 year report.
How do I create a custom report from month A to month B?

You can set custom dates for "Progress Summary" in the reports section but not apparently in the general part of Reports as you stated in your post.
