Delete old weight data

Hi there,

I'm trying to delete some old weight readings from Garmin Connect, just clearing old history when I wasn't taking measurements regularly and I had the Athlete mode set wrong. I can't seem to delete anything in or before September 2015.

No errors are shown, The page just refreshes like a normal delete ... but the old data is still there.

Any thoughts?

    Did you try it on the full page view of weight? It should work there if you go to the dates you're looking for and deleting there.

    I too am unable to delete weight entries from a few weeks ago. Selecting the data point, clicking on the trashcan, and pressing the Delete button at the "Are you sure you wish to delete.." prompt results in no change.

    I found another thread suggesting using the Calendar page to delete weight entries.

    Weight Tracking in GC

    It works with no issues.

    Still a bug, the workaround to use Calendar still works... Annoyingly

    This bug still exists on the web or from the App. You can delete a weight entry or entries from Weight (web) or Health Stats (app) but it does not persist.

    Go to the Calendar for the day you have a weight you want to delete, find the little scale icon at the top of that day, and you can delete.

    I understand that Connect is free, but the devices are sure not! I have multiple devices including the Index Smart Scale which guests step on and of course don't know that there weight will be recorded if they don't move off my name and voila, I am twenty pounds lighter!

    Garmin please fix this bug!

    Are you synced with another app like MyFitnessPal? I've noticed that the weights I deleted come back if i have not deleted the previous weights in both.

    Deleting Old Weight Entries Bug & Calendar Workaround

    Thanks a lot for this. I experienced exactly the same annoying bug and the calendar workaround worked like a charm. Although it should really work from the Weight section. As you said, the hardware if far from being free and the app should therefore be fixed, Garmin!

    Top work - cheers, my averages were all over the place after my bro borrowed my scale :-D

    I have managed to delete multiple guest entries from Garmin Connect but one entry just won’t delete. I’ve deleted it from MyFitnessPal. Can’t think of any other health apps that could affect this. Strange that only one entry can’t be deleted! Any ideas?
