Viewing steps from activities

Hi, is it possible to see the number of steps from my Walking or Running activity on Garmin Connect? I use a vivoactive and I see that it is tracking them for the activity. However after the activity is complete I can't seem to access them online or with the app. I'd like to use this count to avoid double-dipping on walking/running activity and daily steps when recording activity on a third-party tool.

Thanks, Laura

It does tell you steps per minute for the activity, so you can get a pretty close estimate.

Thank you. Can you please point me to where to find the steps per minute online or in the app. Not seeing it.

On either one if you open up the activity detail you should be able to see it.
    • Show the list of activities (which you get by clicking the "ACTIVITIES" title in the widget).
    • Hover your mouse over the column titles of the report.
    • Click the down arrow.
    • Show a list of columns available for the report.
    • Put a checkmark next to steps.
    • Drag the column wherever you wish in the report.
  • That doesn't work for me, I just have a line across Steps, no data. Using a VSHR so should be measuring steps? Any idea?

    Steps during activity.

Last week i was able to see the steps per activity (and pervious weeks), but suddenly this week it's not listed. I used to go under "intensity Minutes" and then click on "Activities" and it would say what the Step Count was for during that activity, so i'm not sure if they made a change to Garmin Connect, but it's not showing it now! I too have the Vivoactive.

UPDATE: The instructions that "pshare" wrote above work for me!! THANK YOU!
