Problem with Modern View

How do you determine specific distance into a trail / track in modern view. Only total distance is show in the summary. If I mouse over the trail, there is no indication if the spot is 1 mile, or 2 miles, etc . . .
  • You can't. The modern version of Garmin Connect doesn't allow you to see that information, That was only available in Classic. You have to use third party software.
  • On the lower left corner just below the display of the map, there is a toggle choice for "Over time" or "Over Distance". If you choose "Over Distance", you can see the distance at any given spot in the map on the elevation graph below.
  • Except you can't see time for distance and when you move the cursor to click the toggle button you lose the distance position on the graph as it gets reset back to the start - essentially useless. Whereas the Classic version showed you BOTH time and distance simultaneously.
  • It may be useless to you, but exactly what hazukashii asked for in the initial post in this thread. Whether the feature suits your particular purposes is irrelevant to the correctness and usefulness of the answer given.
