Garmin S20 golf

Since purchasing the New garmin S20 golf there has been loads of issues.

1. the Garmin connect mobile does not display any golf stats or course at all always gets error.

2. if you have your watch connected to the mobile phone when playing a round (to make use of the notifications from the phone) if you save your round while it is synced with your phone it will delete the round and you have lost it. (this is known by Garmin and they are trying to fix it. they said just don't have it connected to your mobile via Bluetooth until they get it fixed.

3. i have uploaded my clubs onto the watch to make use of the auto shot. I play a shot and it asks me which club i hit and i input it from the clubs i uploaded however once i have synced it with Garmin connect and view my round it shows each hole and where i have hit the ball however it does not show the club i put into my watch it shows some random club and i have to change it all in Garmin connect web site.

is anyone else having these issues. it feels as if they have just thrown out the watch to market without testing it. i paid a lot of money for it and was considering getting the Truswing but no way. I'm disappointed :mad:

S20 ... a major let down

Thanks for posting this.

I got the s20 and truswing together recently. I played my 1st round with the s20 last saturday. I had it paired with my phone. I tracked scores, measured shots, ended my round and synced, and have never seen the round again. I had no idea what had happened to it, but you seem have had the same problem and confirmed it with garmin, so thanks for the info.

My problem seems to be that I bought an s20 and expected it to work as advertised. Boy am I fed up wiith garmin :mad: - 1st products from them and they have completely let me down. My 1st round was when I was over in California for a short while, now I am back in the UK I will not have the opportunity to play it again any time soon.

The s20 seems like a major expensive waste of money. Garmin, sort out this software! We are not your free software testers... We have paid real money for working products not shoddy stuff.
