I'll miss your high resolution tracking, charts that show heart rate by percentage and zone, goals display that actually changes to the current goal when a previous goal ends, and the option of having a non-beta platform that generally did what it was supposed to.
How about working menus? I think everyone at Garmin must have 31 inch UHD monitors. The issue with the menu where the scrollbar expands when approaching it (and then shrinks again when you move over to it) has been around for months and has not been resolved.
I have no particular with the masses of largely irrelevant data that Modern spews across the screen.
But I do have a problem that a lot of the functionality simply doesn't work properly. Basic stuff that worked in Classic (like synching workouts from training plans) doesn't work any more.
And Garmin have stuck their fingers in their ears and are singing "la-la-la".
Sorry, but Modern came out 2 years ago, and Garmin has been supporting both all that time. Plenty of time to report problems and learn your way around modern.
Things are different on modern, but for example, you can control which widget show on your dashboard (with multiple tabs too, if you want), and can remove things you don't want or need quite easily. It starts with the default for what device you use, but you can easily change that and set it up the way you want. And you'll probably find that things you are missing in Modern are there - it's just that there is a different way to get to that data.
As I said, this isn't a sudden change. It's been going on for two years, which is much longer than other companies allow when they are making changes to their websites.

It's just that Modern is a regression compared with Classic, clearly Garmin didn't ask anyone and just had some random hipsters design something 'flashy'. Of course, we are a captive audience until the watch (or whatever) breaks/fails, but I'm not taking anything else from Garmin. As I've said in another thread, it's bloated and slow too, why oh why jboss? Various things deliver spinners but never load the page. And clearly, it's been two years to learn modern and suggest changes/improvements (posting here doesn't count, and you have to email garmin, as this is generally a user-to-user forum). Classic is gone, it's been known that it was going away for quite some time.
