Garmin Connect Calendar not syncing to correct date on Fenix 3

Whenever I upload a workout to Garmin connect, then sync to my Fenix3, without fail it appears a day later on my watch - a very frustrating issue:mad:! I contacted Garmin support who said to send the watch back which I did, and after waiting for almost 3 weeks they sent me a replacement watch which is doing the same thing, so I'm assuming it is a problem with garmin connect not the watch. Anyone have any ideas?
  • Did you check the settings in Garmin Connect and specifically the Upload Time Zone to make sure that it matches the watch?

Thanks for your response - yes I did - I am in New Zealand so set the upload time to GMT+12 New Zealand. My Fenix3 is set on GPS time so I guess that should be correct as well. I'm thinking it may not be a time problem so much as a date problem - as it doesn't matter what time of day I upload it's always a day out. Appreciate any further ideas from anyone!

Exactly the same issue I'm having. I also have mine set up to NZST on connect and GPS time on my watch. I was wondering if it had something to do with daylight savings time, but I've given up and just adjust my training plan to start a day earlier instead. Slightly annoying but oh well :)

Same issue in NZ. It seems to have resolved by having the watch time set manually. Garmin Connect calendar workouts will then be listed on the Fenix 3 for the correct day (as set on Connect).

Perhaps the US-centric Garmin systems can't cope with time zones so far removed from their own - a bit embarrassing for a company selling 'global' positioning technology
