Connect Modern Functionality

In the Classic version of Connect, there used to be the Explore section, that allowed you to view other users' Activities and Courses. I can't find a way to do this in Connect Modern. Am I missing it, or has it been removed?
  • I can only assume the people who write Garmin Connect do not run or cycle so have no experience of what athletes actually find useful.

    Quoted for truth.

The thing I hate about modern is the player view is rubbish. You can no longer see what your time AND distance is to get splits outside of recorded laps. The best you can do is get one, try to hold your finger over the screen as close to the point as you can and then toggle to the other and try to match the cursor progress to where your finger is on the screen.

SportTracks. You can create whatever splits you like after the fact.

Remember Garmin Connect isn't about what athletes find useful. It's about what data miners and their advertising clients find useful about athletes. Garmin only has to keep enough consumer functionality, for us to keep giving them our data.
  • The only thing I use Garmin Connect for these days is to upload to Strava...
  • Pretty sure you can just web-upload straight to strava.

Yeah, I meant wirelessly - Edge510 > Garmin Connect Mobile > Garmin Connect > Strava, without having to touch a computer.
