Fenix 3 syncs to Garmin Connect as Greenwich Mean Time when not using GPS based apps

Hello there,
Cannot seem to figure out why my watch uploads my activities under GMT time zones. Get's annoying when i'm trying to track daily activities and sometimes don't have an activity one day, but two the next (early morning GMT is late night here in Alberta Canada).

When I use a GPS based app (ex: running outdoors) it syncs fine. But when I bike indoors or run indoors on the treadmill it reverts back to GMT.
My watch is set to mountain time as well. I have as "additional data" under watch face the UTC time on the bottom, but I don't think that is the issue, surely. I had a UTC widget but have disabled it once the UTC option became available in the "additional data" section of the watch face. Also I don't recall that being an issue in the past.

If anyone else has come across this let me know if there's a quick fix!

Thanks!

    Fixed!

    Garmin Connect (website)
    Settings
Display Preferences (this is the first page that comes up when you go to settings)
Upload Time Zone -> set yours

Note: This setting will only apply for new non-GPS uploads and does not change the time of activities already stored at Garmin Connect.
