Activities to select don't make sense

So, I can designate an activity as wing suit flying (what are there, a few hundred people in the world who do this) or hang gliding, but not yoga or snowboarding or alpine skiing? I can do the Ski/Snowboard activity on my Fenix 3, but can't set that within the activity on garmin connect. What am I missing?
  • You can select Resort Skiing/Snowboarding in Garmin Connect activities...
  • Yes the list of activities are pretty wacked........ Driving... Motorcycling... RC/Drone ?!?! How are these on there? Where is Poker, Cooking, and Bird Watching while they are at it?

They have Tennis... but not basketball, soccer, or "Sport"

I agree. I play Basketball and Soccer almost every week and leave my watch on to track it. I find it odd that there are so few ball sports in the "other" category, or for that matter that it isn't a category on its own.
  • +100000 with all your comments. Sport should be an activity and inside of it football, basket, hockey,...

For the time being it seems that only gps sports matter for garmin. Positioning themselves as "the best activity trackers" should not ignore sport activities, which are massive...

+1, fully agree. Garmin please fix this. There's already tennis, so adding other balls sports completely makes sense.

    Thanks!
  • Why are Football, Rugby and Netball not included

Football (soccer) is played by around 270 million people, Rugby and Netball are massively popular in this country. How many people go wakeboarding??? Even if there was a ball sports option that would be amazing seriously garmin sort it out!!!
