Have they stopped workout creation?

Just went to try and create a workout on Garmin Connect and got this:

Page Not Found

We're sorry. The page you're looking for no longer exists.
  • Did you only try the once? For heavens sake people! Sometimes Garmin does work on things. Sometimes things happen beyond Garmin's control. Give it some time before whinging and whining here!
  • Shouldn't the user reach a 'down for maintenance page' in that case?

If it's being worked on then... idk how else to put this: it's in their control. Just as is the code that directs all the links between pages on their site. Unless they let the work experience guy from the cheapest web development company they could find do the work, and even then that's a choice they would have to have decided on.
Normal web service companies (the type that aren't trying to go out of business by alienating their customers) test code before it's put into production for _exactly_ _this_ _reason_.

This isn't uncle joe's ye olde time sport watch and sometimes website company, this is a multinational corporation with customers who've paid a premium for devices and expect a certain level of service.

If you're doing maintenance, let the customers know. If you're putting new code into production, you test it first. If someone tripped over the cable to your website you should have planned to have your disaster recovery side come up automatically - it's not like you can't afford it - and should look a little closer at your hiring policies, because this type of issue is what the Garmin name has become synonymous with, and calling it amateur hour would be exercising extreme restraint.
  • I just tried to create a manual activity both in Modern and in Classic and had no problem whatsoever.
