Device Sync issue using connect

Hi - I have Garmin Express installed on my Windows PC (Bluetooth enabled) - I also have a Forerunner 25 (Bluetooth enabled) - although I previously found syncing to my PC via Bluetooth a bit hit and miss, it did work. Don't ask me why but I accidentally deleted the Forerunner 25 from the sync device list within Connect and now it does not seem to sync! The Forerunner 25 is still recognised when Express is launched, but when I click on Garmin Connect within Garmin Express, the forerunner no longer appears in the double arrowed "Device Sync" list - how can I get Connect to recognise the forerunner?

  • If I read your post correctly, it seems like you didn't add it back as a device in Express after you deleted it. If so, windows may recognize it because the driver is installed but you need to add it back to Express.

    Yes, that is correct - but subsequent attempts using connect have not recognised it, so how do I add it back into express?
  • Open Express. You should see tiles of the devices setup in Express. The last tile is a plus sign (Add a Device).

    Click it and follow the prompts.

    Thanks, but it already shown as a registered device in express, but when I then click "connect" below it is then not shown in sync device - I am going to try to add it again as a device!
    Deleted device in express and reinstalled, but still not showing on sync device within connect - any further thoughts?
