Vivosmart HR and Google Nexus 6

I have purchased a Vivosmart HR and have paired it with my Nexus 6.

I have turned on notifications in the connect mobile application and paired the vivosmart to the connect mobile application.

I do not get any notifications sent to the Vivosmart HR.

Any advise would be appreciated.
