Garmin Connect Device Sync shows TZ Map v 16.02 update, but Garmin Express doesn't

I have an Edge 500 and have Garmin Express installed. Connect always shows a (1) update available in the Device Sync tab and says it's:
Time Zone Map, Version 16.02

When I click Send Now, it opens Garmin Express and does a sync. Garmin Express shows that everything is up to date, with no Optional Updates. The problem is the notification in Garmin Connect doesn't clear. I can click the little "x" to remove it, but eventually it'll come back again.

Yeah, I've had this for years. Every now & then it adds another copy. I was up to about 8 copies of the same TZ 'software update' once and they never synced.

Clear the updates from GC, send them a support ticket and hope the person you get realises the company they work for sells fitness trackers, and knows how to read & reply to an email. They don't read this section of the forum.
