Cannot send course to device (920XT)

I cannot send courses created in Garmin Connect to my Forerunner 920XT. I have been able to do it in the past, but now the "Send to Device" button does not seem to do anything. Garmin Express says that it has synced successfully, but the course does not appear on my watch. I have tried on two different computers, and three different browsers (Chrome (which has worked in the past), IE and Firefox)

Is this happening to anyone else at the moment (i.e. is it a problem with Garmin Connect). And has anyone had this problem in the past and managed to fix it?

  • How many courses do you have? If you have others, try deleting some and see if that makes a difference.
  • Thanks, that worked (although still only seems to work sporadically - sometimes when I send one it works, and sometimes not). Still it's an improvement!

    Same problem here with sending courses to 920XT

    The Send to Device for courses has also stopped working with my 920XT.

    It stopped working about 2 months ago.

    This morning, I deleted a course from the watch and resent the course. Garmin Express (latest version 4.1.26.0) on a PC said it had synced but the course did not show up on my watch.

    I connected the watch via USB and the number of courses shown in the directory had not increased either.

    What is going on ? Would be nice if Garmin allowed the courses to be exported to a local drive so we could cut/paste them directly onto the watch.

    Can anyone give some advice/response to this?
