Vivoactive, unable to load anything from Connect IQ store

I love my vivoactive. But I would like to make some changes to the watch face and add a few of the apps in the store. Every single time I get a pink error message telling me that it is unable to send it to my device because "we're having trouble communicating with our servers". Please try again later. This has happened every single time.
I'm basically tech savvy......but not able to figure this out. I need simple instructions to fix this problem.

    I'd try calling Garmin customer support. They may be able to talk you through a solution. Or they may determine its as hardware problem and replace your watch. If that's necessary, you should be able to get them the new one before sending the old one back.
