Can't save custom HR in a workout

I copied one of my workouts. All I want to do is change the HR during 2 bike times. It lets me enter the new bpm and save my workout, but when I look at my workout the bpm are 'null'. I've tried deleting the step and re-entering, but I get the same results. I can pick one of the existing HR choices but I'm not able to enter a custom bpm.

Has anyone called Garmin Customer Service to report this?

    U.S. toll-free: 1-800-800-1020

Others have raised similar issues. I have also written to Garmin DK and Garmin on Facebook.
Currently, I can not upload anything from my android mobile to my Edge 810: sync is always failing.

Same issue here since yesterday evening....

For those who still have Garmin Training Center, you can use it to update workouts on your device

Thanks for that tip. I installed Garmin Training Center and was able to create a workout and upload it to my Garmin Edge 500.

Got a mail from Garmin customer service. They are aware of the custom HR and watt zone errors. They are working on it, but do currently do not have a planned completion date.

Please note, that workouts can be configured manually on most devices.

It took me forever to figure out this was the issue. I kept trying to send my scheduled workouts to my FR910xt and all I got was an error stating "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect". I went through the workouts individual and noticed my custom HR and power zones were changed to null. Its frustrating that Garmin software causes so many issues that you need to figure out yourself. Thank god for the online community of users.

Its amazing how good the Garmin hardware is compared to how truly terrible the software and support is.

    Custom watt zones works again.

If you can not press save-button after entering custom watt,
try to change another field forth and back, and it will save.

I have this problem too. In fact I seem to get nothing but problems with this device and the god awful connect app!!

I have tried maybe a dozen times to edit and SAVE a custom heart rate zone in Connect for running. Every time I back out of the setting and go back to it again it's reset to zone 1!! And nothing seems to upload to the watch.

This Christmas I plan to treat myself to something that actually WORKS, like a Gear S3, at which point I shall smash this piece of junk face down on a table!! Total rubbish. Nothing but problems.
