Ski mode

Not been bothered before but now as I am off skiing, why does Garmin Connect not show Activity Type as Skiing??
Shows as Uncategorised!

I tested the mode while driving and it works by going in auto mode by stopping when going uphill and starts again going downhill, however, GPS is not as accurate as expected.
So is this something that can be sorted??

Garmin has ski tracking mode? What do you for GPS? The phone itself? Or your forerunner....?

I've been using my Fenix 3 to track ski days as well and its frustrating that there is no way in connect to get any reports of skiing - total days, total vertical, total runs, etc. There are ~4-5 different ways to get Golf data, but I really don't care about that.

I was testing the GPS and Ski Mode whilst driving and wanted to make sure I was getting all the info in Garmin Connect.
I have Fenix 3.

Looks like its a Garmin Connect issue as apparently it works correctly in Strava!!
