registering under 13 years age

I have a vivosmart and have had no issues registering it with garminconnect. I set it up with my android phone app.

I have just bought a vivosmart for my 12 year old daughter.
Unfortunately garmin connect does not allow you to register if you are under the age of 13.
Without registering I can't set up her vivosmart so she can't use it.

What do I do?
Can I add her as a user to my garmin account?
  • You really shouldn't combine the 2 of you into 1 account. First of all there can only be one primary tracker so one of you won't see steps and sleep.

What I would do is set up a second account. If necessary, say she's 13 and then modify the birth date in Connect online after it's setup. (Head & Shoulders icon - Settings - Personal information)

If it doesn't let you, live with it until her next birthday and change it then.
