Garmin connect uploads the same activity twice on Strava

Has anyone else had this problem before?

Whenever I upload an activity to Garmin Connect which then syncs automatically with Strava, two activities appear on Strava. The first is my activity with my Strava profile; the second is a ghost me. My name but when I click on the athlete the webpage updates and says the athlete doesn't exist. However, this ghost me still appears on leaderboards etc.

I have emailed Strava's customer support and am still waiting for a reply. I do not have the same problem when I upload directly from the Strava mobile app.

Any thoughts/insights v welcome

Yes, I am having the same issue. Did you ever figure out what the issue was?

Do you have any other apps collecting or sharing fitness data? RunKeeper, Apple health, myfitnesspal, tapiriik, etc?
