Some files could not be sent to your device

I am using a Garmin Swim watch, and whenever I try to sync with Garmin Connect, I get a dialog that states, "Some files could not be sent to your device." There is a text area in the dialog that contains the following: "device-settings (Transfer Error)"

This has been happening ever since I first got the watch and set up Garmin Connect.

Any ideas on what is going on, and how to resolve it?
  • If I recall the Swim can't receive data, only upload. The transfer error is probably new user info from GC. In GC you can click sync tab on left side and remove this/these items from sync, this will get rid of the transfer error.
