problems with my vivosmart HR after a couple of days

Here are some in depth follow-up questions I have after a few days receiving my vivosmart hr as a birthday gift.
Firstly, does my Huawei P8 lite compatible to sync with my HR, because I have issues syncing the two via Bluetooth. It does connect with my phone, but most of the time even if the Bluetooth is on on both devices are connected, it will disconnect automatically and either I have to turn of my phone or the Bluetooth to reset it and it is really frustrating, because I love the HR.
Next question when I receive one short or long notifications I cant read the full message, mostly I can only see the first few words of the sentence partially. However if I receive multiple notifications from from the same source, the Garmin device will somehow try to sync all the message into on big compound message so when I open it on the notification center of the HR the message is divided to be read into several portion.

Finally my last question is does the HR record unwanted steps? I wear the device for a couple of days and I can tell while I'm wearing the device even if I'm just sitting while writing or texting on my phone the device register the movement as a step. And this greatly affect my calories output, because it not only record it as steps, but also unwanted calories burned data. Thank you Garmin hope you'll answer all my questions.

I am having the exact same problem with a new Vivosmart HR and Huawei P9. Notifications arrive fine and show the first few words, but I then cannot open them. When I hit 'Read' it shows a blank message. I am wondering if it is something to do with the way Huawei handle notifications?

I have been having the same problems with my Huawei P8. My vivosmart HR keeps dropping connection and its a pain in the backside to get it to reconnect. I have all my notifications on and it doesn't even notify me anymore as to when it drops the connection.
This is VERY frustrating for me as I use it to check if it is important that I answer my messages or my phone immediately or if it can wait a few minutes.
I hope that you fix this problem as soon as possible. It was working fine until the recent update.

    What is causing the problems??
I noticed it before with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as well, when there would be an upgrade for the wristband it would take until the next upgrade for it to work fast.
Also losing the blue tooth connection even if your phone if in your pocket is rather annoying as well.

    Sincerely,
    Sarah
