No Manual Cycling miles in GC Reports

I download an indoor bike session (HR & time info only, but obviously no distance data)

Once transferred to GC I manually add the distance covered.

The activities in the Dashboard show the manually entered milage but this data is not picked up by any of the reports.

Where am i going wrong??

This is a problem with Reports. It began in November at the last software update to GC. You might contact customer service about it. They claim it will be fixed, but it has been going on a long time. When I contacted customer service they said no date has been put on the fix.

GC will be down for maintenance tonight so hopefully they'll get around to fixing it. I have the same issues as you do - on the newer bikes at the gym the monitors can't send speed/cadence data (the older bikes do), so I put them in manually and they're not showing up in reports.

There have been several workarounds posted in the forums but it seems like a lot of effort to do that, and it really doesn't bother me, so I figure I'll wait for the fix.

I'm guessing the fix will be a while in the making.... if ever....

Can anyone point me in the direction of the workaround(s)?

The easiest workaround is to edit the activity IMMEDIATELY after it syncs. If you're too late, the second workaround is to edit the activity; export it; delete the original; and re-import it.
