Correct missed laps in swim mode?

My Garmin Forerunner 920XT will occasionally miss a lap when I'm swimming. Is there a way to correct my data when this happens?

If you search the threads on here there are some on editing swim data using third party apps/sites

I tend to just correct the total figure in connect so that my overall distance and strokes per length are correct
