Garmin Connect not syncing properly with MyFitnessPal

I have my Garmin Express synced to the MyFitnessPal app and every time I sync it, it updates within MyFitnessPal but the "calories consumed" / net calorie goal in Garmin Connect still shows as zero and doesn't update. I already tried disconnecting and reconnecting it.

It now shows me in the negative for net calorie goal. Has this happened to anyone else and how do you fix it?
