Change e-mail address

Hi,

I would like to change the e-mail address associated with myAccount. When I type in my new e-mail address and click 'Update' I am told:

[FONT=Courier New]There is already a Garmin account with that e-mail address. Please type a different e-mail address for this account.[/FONT]


As a test I tried to recover the password for this new e-mail address. When I click "Recover Password" on the password recovery page I am told:

[FONT=Courier New]We could not find that email address in our records.[/FONT]


So, if my new e-mail address isn't in the records why is the myAccount page telling me that there is already an account for this e-mail address.

Anybody know?
