New GC Version: 16.2.0.11 - phantoms, empty activities

Hi,

yesterday a new version of GC has been released - Version: 16.2.0.11.
Suddenly, I got some phantoms, empty activities.

It's a bug of GC?

I have Fenix 3 watch with beta FW, but looks like a GC issue, it's first time with this abnormal behaviour of GC.

Please report, especially if you are users of other than F3 watches.

Who said the fix was in place? We were told it would be 'towards the end of this week', no announcement that it's been done AFAIK. (And, even allowing for my time zone, they're cutting it a bit fine!)

Our expectation is that the phantom activities should be taken care of on the Garmin Connect...

so "should be", it's still not sure...

I still have to "unknown device" issue, and phantom activities...
I hope the neverending story will be closed very soon.

I was told by the Beta team in an email today that the fix was applied yesterday.

Hmph. Hasn't worked, has it? I turned activity tracking on for about three hours today and got four or five ghosts before I turned it back off again.

The "fix", if applied, did not work. I'm still getting lots of ghost activities with my F3.

Bumping this thread in case the GC team are monitoring. I was not having any problems with Unknown device or Phantom activities until the GC servers came back on line yesterday. Now I'm phantom-activity-tastic and the device in 'proper' activities shows Unknown and doesn't even list the software version (used to show Fenix 3 with correct software and correct graphic). It appears things got very messed up in Garmin Connect land yesterday, resulting in a huge step back fixing these bugs rather than progress.

Another 14 phantom activities today!!!! I'm calling this problem "The Phantom Menace". This is a real PITA!

Phantoms still alive and well for many F3 users, now endemic in stable release FW.

Poor show garmin, poor show....
