Stroke Rate not shown

Hello,

I own the Fenix 3 and was most happy with the recent update as I am a rower. Finally Stroke rate can be monitored and recorded.
However I face the unfortunate issue, that i can only few the recorded stroke rate on my watch and not on connect.garmin.com.
When working with splits and interval programs this would be a vital information but it simply is not shown.

As a side note also the elevation was shown before, obviously this does not change much, but I row on different locations and use elevation training where this information is good to have when looking at it afterwards. Can this be included?

Are there some hidden options or is there a way to contact garmin support somehow on such issues?

Cheers
Joe
  • Hi Joe,

it's not because of some hidden options. It just because GC and GCM don't support fully new activities like rower.
Fortunately all data about stroke are still there and we hope that update will show all information soon.
  • Update is in since a while and its great!
The app and conncet.garmin.com now show stroke rate also in laps which is great.
Thanks so much, its a great leap forward, especially for the work between me and my trainer.

Only thing still missing to be awesome is the connection to the indoor rower (Concept 2) to be able to also record speed and power.

    Cheers
    Joe
