Moderm Connect - Close Activity Window

I may be overlooking the obvious, but tell me:

I am trying to review activities from 2015.
I change the yearly calendar to 2015 and select the month of January.
I select January 18 and open the activitiy. So far so good.

Now, I just want to close that activity and select January 25 2015.
I can't figure out how to do that.
The only way I see is to go back to the calendar, which reverts to the current date (today)
Or to scroll through each individual day. If I only had one activity a day, that might be reasonable, but I have multiple activities on many days.

I'd just like to close the activity detail page to retrun to the 2015 calendar and select another day.

Any ideas?

Garmin Connect is truly horrible s/w, my activities don't even show on the calendar view.

What I do is set my mouse and web browser up to launch a new tab with the mouse wheel button. Then I can view the activities list and launch separate tabs for each activity I wish to review without messing up the list view page. Mostly I use Sporttracks (desktop version) for my gear/notes/database, though there are a few items that are easier to look at in GC.
