Given that garmin seems to like the idea of profiles on devices it would be extremely useful if the profile name was passed across from device to garmin connect and used in reports rather than just stranded on the unit
On my edge device I have the standard profiles plus I have added daily, weekend, courses, sportive and running with different data screens for each which suit my requirements
However since it is designated a single sport device as in cycling they all get lumped together so it is an aggregate distance value
Now in garmin connect under gear tracking I keep track of my yearly distance from January 1st and currently get a single figure, it would be nice if the profile name was moved across and also incorporated into reports and gear tracking so you could report and total on sub devisions and allocated to training, ride, daily etc etc along with the total allocated to cycling as it is now, as you may well use different gear for training and events, you could also sort by profile name in reports
