Garmin Connect giving error message when trying to download a .tcx file

Garmin connect desktop is currently having two errors occur.

It is going to a "Forbidden" page when trying to download a file (I use .tcx) from the activity page.

I used to have this happen before and my work around was to temporarily go to the "classic view" and either download from there OR then reload the "modern" view and it would then work to download the file.

As of today, it will not allow either. Any suggestions?

  • Log out and then back into Connect. It should work then. It seems that, over time, it loses permission to export a file. Logging in again fixes it as your permissions are refreshed.
