Mileage discrepancy?

Hello

first post, sorry its a request for help. I have tried searching, I'm sure its been asked before, but couldn't find my answer.
I went out today with my ETrex 25, which recorded a 6.33 mile walk (which was a surprise as the route card stated it was 4 miles) However when I loaded this activity onto Garmin Express it recorded it as 6.85miles. Does anyone know why this might be?

I assume you mean Connect not Express?

Which discrepancy concerns you, the 4 versus around 6 miles or the small difference between Connect and your Etrex?

thanks for your reply, sorry I did mean connect. I was just wondering what causes the small discrepancy between the Eurex and connect - not concerned really, just puzzled
