Incorrect Data and Notifications not coming to Vivosmart HR

Hi guys,

2 main issues I've been having, already emailed support about the first one but figure a post here wouldn't hurt.

1.So whenever I sync over data to my Iphone, it appears to save the previous steps and floors climbed for the next day. For example, after resetting my vivosmart HR this morning I am showing 1062 steps and 1 floor climbed. But after syncing, the steps on Garmin Connect show 7700 and 22 floors climbed. Yesterday I do walk 7700 steps but today is a new day. So I'm not sure why that is inaccurate and a little frustrating as I got my Vivosmart HR a few days ago.

2. My notifications are turned on and bluetooth is connected to the phone, but I'm not receiving any of my notifications for text, email, or calls. I received it a few days ago, but no longer receiving the information.

Any information would help!

Thanks!

I am having the same problem as well. I went on a run yesterday but it's registered today. My sleep register me sleeping from 5:15a to 12:15p.

You would assume that I have the am/pm switched somewhere but can't find it.

Had the exact same problem. The number of steps I took yesterday is copy/pasted on today's log, although the number of steps shown in my vivosmart HR is correct for today. Curiously, my sleep detection - which usually is fairly accurate - was waay off today too. Go figure. Glad to hear that tomorrow things may come back to normal.

Just spoke with Support on this

I've been having the same problem for the last 3 days. My previous days' steps were being set as the base value of the following day. We did a couple of things to fix this, but we won't be able to tell until tomorrow since today's data cannot be modified (bug?). He thinks this should fix the problem.

Basically, the support guy had me do the following:

    - check the software level on my HR (2.60 as of today)
    - check the App Store make sure the Connect app doesn't have any updates pending. Their updates don't always show up on your AppStore Updates tab. So search for the app and if it shows the Open icon, you're all set. If it shows, Update, do that.
    - check/confirm date and time setting between HR and Connect and iPhone are correct (use the Gear icon on your watch and scroll through the date/time settings)
    - Unpair the HR from the Connect app on my iPhone
    - Go into the Bluetooth settings on iPhone and "forget" the vivoSmart HR device
    - Go into the Connect app Settings and remove the vivoSmart HR as a device
    - Go into Bluetooth settings on iPhone and turn Bluetooth Off
    - Log out of the Connect app
    - Reboot/power down the iPhone to clear cache
    - power iPhone back up
    - sign back into Connect
    - turn your iPhone Bluetooth back on
    - add your HR device back (tap + on the Settings-Devices page and scroll through to select the HR device)
    - put your HR in Bluetooth pair mode (tap the Bluetooth icon and scroll to start pairing)
    - click Start in Connect to search for your device. When found, complete the pairing.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll be all set.
