Connect won't sync

I'm new to fitness trackers and to Garmin Connect, so maybe this is just user error, but I'm on day two, and my Vivosmart HR won't sync to Connect on my phone. Yesterday, everything synced fine. Today, the device states that the data transfer is complete, and Connect states that the sync is complete, but no data is transferred. On the top right of "My Day" is states that the last sync was yesterday.

Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm so frustrated right out of the gate with this!

Thanks,
Kim

Must be a server error. I've had that all day today too. Wish they would tell us when things are down.
  • There is the Connect Status page that more or less tells you if there are problems.

    connect.garmin.com/en-US/status

As for syncing issues, when you have phone connect issues, it's a good idea to try Express.

Also, based on my experience with the vivosmart (not HR - as I don't own one) each time a sync runs it creates a file that is transferred to Connect. If it fails, that file remains and another one is created when you try again. Then the sync process has to work its way through the accumulated sync files.

If you already have your sleep stats for last night, you can move the older files in the Garmin monitoring folder off the band and only keep the last one. Then try to sync again. If it syncs successfully and everything is up-to-date, you can then delete the extra files.
