Got my Vivosmart HR Dec 17. Started w/ Garmin Connect immediately. Really liking this feedback of fitness data. All worked fine until yesterday (Dec 22). From ~1:30pm to ~7:30pm, Garmin Connect stopped receiving specific data, (VSHR & GC together all this time), yet received general data (total # steps, my daily workout). My VSHR received a software update at ~7:30pm. GC then started to receive specific data again and finished the day out with what looks to be accurate day totals, yet leaving a that ~6 hour gap of detailed data.
The bigger issue, however, is that the Dec 23 day started well within the Dec 22 day, causing an overlap of several hours of duplicate data with an offset of time of ~6 hours, and assumed all general data of Dec 22 back to what appears to be 1:30pm when the data gap happened. Long story short, data is duplicate, missing, inaccurate, and confusing for Dec 23. GC says I slept from morning hours to noon rather than midnight to morning hours, because it is ~6 hrs off. Same true for all other (Steps etc). The VSHR data continues to collect accurate information (HR, Steps, Calories, Steps, etc) with a time correct displayed. I’ve logged out GC on both PC and mobile unit. Uninstalled & reinstalled GC on mobile unit. Logged back in to sync w/ no improvements. I could say more, but it’s really a complex mess at this point.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Solutions? Is this a GC or VSHR issue?
