The graphical presentation of pace on Garmin Connect appears to be incorrect. The pace curve is nearly flatline. There is a callout box that appears to correctly report the average pace. But the curve shows pace either slightly slower then the reported average, or very close to - but rarely faster then the average. Common sense of course will flag that. You can't have an average pace of say 8 min/mile with numbers mainly slower or at 8. The math doesn't work.
I ran a short distance to simplify the data and compared the reports on both Garmin Connect and Strava. Strava correctly depicts the pace graphically (more correctly).
