vivoactive & Garmin Connect app issues

Until the recent updates, I have had no issues with my vivoactive and Garmin Connect iPhone app communicating. Now, my watch will occasionally transfer data to the Connect app, though they are paired and I get smart notifications. Also, when I try to open any activities on the app, the app crashes. Anyone else having these issues? Know of a solution? Thanks
