Excluding certain activities.

Hi, hopefully there is a simple enough solution to my question....

I recently upgraded my FR220 to the Fenix3. Either my daughter or my wife sometimes use the FR220. Is there a way that I can exclude these activities from my stats or should I just create a new profile for them? I've tried changing the activity from the default "running" to "other" but it still includes them.

Thanks in advance!
  • The simplest thing is to make them a new account.

first remove the 220 from your account, than remove it from your My Garmin account.
open a new account, open Garmin Express and add the 220 again but this time register the 220 to the new account. Now u can use it again, and when u sync the 220 the activities are transferred to the new account.

Not sure why you can't just open the activity and delete it. If you're trying to allow them to save their activities, etc I think you'd have to create separate accounts and sign in and out all the time. Sounds like a pain.

Thanks, that's exactly what I ended up doing.
    Cheers.
