I am using a Garmin D2 Bravo to track GA flying activity. Activities transfer correctly into Garmin Connect and are viewable there.
After one flight, I forgot to end & save the activity. The watch continued to record, adding the following car drive. I have used Garmin Basecamp to cut the track to the correct end. I exported from Garmin Connect, edited in Basecamp and then tried sending it back to Garmin Connect both via the built in Sending function & also via manual export.
In both cases, the resulting file displays correctly edited in Connect , but has lost its categorisation (Flying), the device information on which it was originally recorded (D2 Bravo) and possibly other data sets that I am not aware of.
I'd like the corrected track to display with full information in Garmin Connect. Have not been able to find an edit function within Garmin Connect - which would obviously be the easiest fix! Am I missing something or is there another workaround?
