Blending data from Apple Watch, Forerunner, and Edge... Help!

I would like to blend data from an Apple Watch, Forerunner and Edge then share that data with MyFitnessPal.com for determining calorie burn vs. food intake.

1. Step and calorie data... how should I do this? I intend to use my Apple Watch as the primary place of step data EXCEPT when I workout, I will then take it off and use the Forerunner 235 (which is an activity tracker and also counts steps) or the Edge 520 when I bike. Is this as simple as turn off the Forerunner / Edge except when working out and then having Garmin Connect iOS app share data with Apple Health and then having Apple Health share the data to MyFitnessPal?

2. Could I do the reverse? Would there be anyway to have Apple Health share step data TO Garmin Connect (and have Garmin Connect add the Forerunner/Edge steps and burns to the Apple Health data) so I can view total step counts in Garmin Connect which is a nicer app to use then Apple Health? Then have Garmin Connect share to MyFitnessPal?

It is quite confusing but I basically would love to have a great app to view my daily step totals that combine all my devices while providing as accurate calorie burn data as possible to MyFitnessPal. I will NOT wear or use two devices at one time if that matters.

Thanks again!
