Uploaded TCX missing details e.g. Heart Rate, Cadence, Power

I have an Elite Qubo digital trainer.
The MyEtraining app has an export feature which creates a TCX file which can be uploaded to connect.

However, when I look at this activity I see only speed which is WAY off (95mph? In my dreams!!!!) although distance / time / average speed and average heart rate look accurate enough.

Curiously, when this activity synced to Strava through connected profiles, all details have come through correctly - cadence and hr from Garmin ANT+ devices, speed, etc etc

Is there any reason why this should be the case? I would really like to have all my training recorded correctly against GOALS and TRAINING PLAN in Connect but won't make much sense based on this first attempt.

    Garmin Support no help...

Response from Garmin Support on this was:

Please be advised that Strava, Edmondo, MyFitnessPal are independent fitness websites, thus they can more easily recognize various files and read their data.
Garmin Connect was created for Garmin devices, thus when you try to import a file not from a Garmin device it might not be recognized.

So basically, Garmin can't interpret a TCX file - which they invented / defined, and that conforms to their schema - but when this is synced FROM Connect into other platforms it is all OK.

    Go figure.
