Segments within ride do not sync with Garmin Connect but overall ride does

Hi,

I have noticed this problem a couple of times now:

I will go out for a ride and do a few a segments during my ride. When I get home, my Edge 1000 uploads my ride via wifi, but it will only upload the overall ride with none of the segment info. I have tried plugging the edge into my PC via USB cable and sycning via Garmin Express but it still doesn't work.

How can I fix this?

    Hi, just to add. The segments were definitely recorded because I can see them on my Edge 100 when I go to History>Rides and select the ride. It shows on the Edge the segments that I have done. But not when I sync the data and look at it on Garmin Connect

    I'm getting the same thing. Last 2 runs I did with my 610, all the run data is there but no segment data despite running over 5 segments. Keen to get the segment info back ... I find the segments a good feature.

    Same thing happened again this morning. I wasn't riding a pre-loaded course because sometimes I just go out and ride and change things up when I'm out on the road, completed several segments along the way and none of them appear on Garmin Connect. This bug needs to be fixed!

    Curt ... I don't think you are giving the best advice here. Just looked at Help/status and Segments is down https://connect.garmin.com/en-US/status ... it appears to have been down for a few weeks.

    What would be good would be for you to give some indication on when you expect to have it back up and running.

    This has been down for nearly two weeks now. Sort it out Garmin and issue a more detailed statement explain what is going on.
