Online GPX to FIT converter (and vice versa)

Hi,

I'll just inform you, that GPSies.com is now able to convert (or download) all formats to and from FIT. I tested it by an Edge 1000, Etrex 25 and Forerunner 920XT. Just transfer the FIT file directly onto the device.

GPSies has now disappeared, The GPSies link which I have used for years now takes you to AllTrails.

But this converter only works for files with size under 8 MB!

Garmin Basecamp will do FIT to GPX. It's not online, but it is a free application for Windows or MacOS. As far as I know, there are no size limitations, at least I haven't hit the limit yet, even after loading the Appalachian trail and the Pacific Crest Trail, which is 2,653 miles and 9 MB.

Another advise is https://mytrails.info/en/ there you can upload your GPX files and let them calculate the climate data for your chosen trail.
