Some files cannot be sent to your device

I get this "Some files cannot be sent to your device" message and no other details, when I try to sync my Swim Watch with Garmin Express. How in the world do I begin to fix this? There's no direction on how or where to start. The message in the box says only, "User Settings (Transfer error)." What user settings?
