Fenix 3 sync failure Mobile Connect

Having trouble syncing to iOS Mobile Connect, since fenix 3 device upgrade this morning. The device is recognized and initiates the sync, but the status bar never progresses and no data is transferred.

I've tried un-pairing with Garmin Mobile Connect.

    Sync and counting issues

    Fenix 3 with 6.15 fw. Same problem here. Syncing with mobile won't work (syncs but nothing is transferred) and calories in out view (Garmin Connect website) shows that i have done over 500 kcal but summary line says zero. 104 + 455 = 0. How?-)

    Also having sync issues, re-paired, reset. was fine until 5.0 upgrade. Battery is also getting chewed up much quicker than normal. Lost 20% from full charge today alone without using GPS.

    Fenix 3 Firmware 5.0 Not syncing

    Sync seems to be frozen, the blue bar is barely moving 10 minutes later. Since upgrading to 5.0 I have been unable to sync via Bluetooth or WIFI.
    Another stellar firmware update!

    About an hour and a half into my sync the blue bar ('sync status') is about half way done. Could it be that the watch is resyncing alll workouts ever done due to another glitchy firmware update?

    Alright, it took almost 2hrs but after what appeared to be a sync session that was stuck / frozen it finally went through. Subsequent syncs appear to be working just as usual, quick and easy. This clearly had to do with the firmware update to 5.0. I never delete any of my workouts, it possibly had to go through each one of them before resuming to sync just new workouts.

  • Garmin had a banner saying they were going to do maintenance yesterday. It's obviously taking longer than they expected.

    I apperciate you posting the status link. Hopefully will be fixed soon. Very frustrating when don't get a helpful message when trying to link up. They could at least setup system message that says site is down.

    Unfortunately this seems to be come with a lot of vendors websites.
