I've asked local buddies and the consensus seems to be unanimous, Live Track has suffered a hit in the last update. When ever I use Live Track now, on rides that I've done for years with out issue, Live Track drops and ends the session. What seems to be the issue is when cell service entered a momentary dead spot, Live Track would "pause" and then continue once past that momentary dead spot. What seems to happen now is when a momentary dead spot occurs, Live Track sessions are ended instead of being paused.
Live Track was one of the top 3 reasons why I bought a Garmin 510. Its a safety feature which allows my family to know if I'm ok or if I might need help and not have the ability to call. My wife and I have an agreement if I'm motionless for over 10 minutes to make a quick check in call/txt.
Has anyone else outside of my local group experienced this also? If so, has anyone learned of a fix? Does Garmin monitor these forums at all?
Thanks in advance!
